Patreon Discoverability
Enhancing Content Discovery and Personalisation on Patreon.
About This Project:
This was a small solo project was completed over 4 weeks as part of the Memorisely UX/UI Bootcamp. The case study centred on enhancing Patreon's discoverability features to help users find, engage with, and support a broader range of creators. Through comprehensive research, ideation, and iterative design, I aimed to create a more intuitive onboarding experience and personalised content recommendations, ultimately improving user satisfaction and creator visibility.
This case study follows the design thinking process—Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—to ensure a user-centred approach, guiding each step from initial research to the final design solutions.

Problem Statement
Patreon is a platform for creatives to receive direct support and funding from their fans. However, the discovery process for potential patrons to find new creators that they may enjoy and support is limited, relying primary on a basic search input field.
The goal of this project was to enhance the discoverability of creative on Patreon to increase patron engagement and support for a broader range of creators. This should result in higher patronage, greater creator satisfaction, and overall growth in the platform’s user base and revenue.
